Basic instructions

-Characteristics-

1. MIS installer and some grafics for the software image.
2. The software only allows one instance on itself, that is, it is executed only once
(like MSN Messenger).
3. Some bugs have been corrected and the code optimized.
4. Control the percentage of transparency.
5. Control window for Windows 2000

Installing

1. Download the file  GlassWindow1_5.zip here.
2. Decompress the file GlassWindow.mis to some directory on your hard disc.
3. Execute the installer (double clic on the GlassWindow.mis file.
4. Follow the installation steps, practically, next, next, next...
"Do not forget to read the license"
5. Go to Start -> Programs, you will see an icon that reads "Glass Window" clic there.
6. In your TaskBar a small icon will appear it has a small square in colors blue and gray.
Note: The task bar is the small bar in the bottom of your computer, the one that has the clock.

-Update-

1. Unload the file GlassWindow1_5_update.zip here.
2. Decompress the Glass_Window.exe file to your installing directory. By default it is "C:\Program files\Glass Window"

-Functioning-

• Windows XP y 2003
  Click On the icon that appeared in your task bar and without releasing the button drag it to the window you wish to make transparent.. Once the pointer is over it, release the click button and your window will turn transparent. 
• Control keys
  If you repeat the above mentioned proceeding with the Shift key pressed the window will return to its normal state.
  But, if you do it with the Control or ctrl key, at the moment you release it, there will be a small window with a sliding bar that will allow you to control the transparency level.
  When you press the right button over the icon you will find 3 options.
  - Turn the task bar transparent.
  - The credit window of the program.
  - and the option to close the program.
  
• Windows 2000
  In case you are using 2000, you must double click over the icon and a window with a small cup will appear, click and drag over the window you wish to make transparent.
  The performance of the control keys is the same.

-Updates coming-

The taskbar icon for a cup image.
The pointer of the mouse will change while you drag it to a window..
A control and configuration window will be added.
